At Cove Bikes we’re all about big backdoor wattage. New for 2006, we introduce the Shocker, our fresh-from-the-factory DH bike. Designed and built for major speed and amplitude, the Shocker features our new Dual Link suspension platform, delivering a mega 8.75 watts of rear travel via a Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock. A SRAM Maxle rear axle and Easton RAD tubing bring it for a super stiff ride that takes corners and rails them. Tested and proven by Canadian National DH Champ Tyler Morland, the Shocker is love Cove Tribe style.

With 8.5 inches of rear travel on a suspension platform born from years of Cove Tribe research, straight out of the box the Peeler is tough enough to send it large—just check out Geoff Gulevich in NWD 6 and ROAM. The Peeler DH comes with a Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock, 150mm rear through axle and a power stacked, oversized 7005 aluminum frame ready to take it all off. New for 2006, an adjusted geometry makes it even harder to resist. Get the crew together. It’s time to strip the competition bare.

Using the same aggressive suspension platform as the Peeler, the Playmate weighs in three-quarters of a pound lighter, featuring 7.5 inches of rear travel and a slightly tweaked geometry for better climbing. Spec’d with a front derailleur mount and wicked paint job, the Playmate will love you long time.

At the Cove we found the G-Spot a long time ago. As one of the industry’s first freeride bikes, the G-Spot’s been delivering worldwide pleasure for the past decade. From the bike park to high alpine epics, the G is the perfect mix of all that feels good: 6 inches of rear travel, sealed bearings on a time proven four bar linkage, and an around the BB main pivot that eliminates pedal feedback and keeps chain tension even. This is the rig Gulevich used to wow the crowd at the 2005 Bike Magazine Monster Park slopestyle competition. If you didn’t know where to find it, now you do.
